The Journal of Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development (JAISD) is pleased to announce its participation in an interdisciplinary workshop on AI ethics and education for democracy, set to take place on the 6th of February 2025 at the AI Action Summit in Paris.
As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to shape society, key questions arise: How should we cultivate democracy in the age of AI? How do we ensure that AI strengthens democratic principles and supports education for democracy — both now and for future generations?
This workshop brings together leading experts in AI, ethics, philosophy, and education to explore these pressing issues. Discussions will be based on JAISD research articles, including published and forthcoming articles, with the aim of identifying new multicultural and multidisciplinary research avenues at the intersection of AI ethics and democracy.
The workshop is organized with the support of IRCAI, International Research Centre on Artificial Intelligence under the auspices of UNESCO, Europe Horizon ELIAS, Center for Internet and Society at CNRS and the Interdisciplinary Institute for Artificial Intelligence (3iA) at the Côte d’Azur University.
